Website made as final exam at Noroff Multimediadesign. The assignment was to find a real client and build a client-satisfying website. My group and I decided to pick my parents hotel, as their website at the time was really outdated. I have done most of the art, all the photography and all coding/building/layout.
The basic layout is simple. The navigation bar can lead to some browser-compatibility issues, but the client really liked the bell and the flash-animating on it, so I kept it as is. It also has the option to be viewed in english if necessary. Should you ever be traveling through Norway going north, make sure to drop by for delicious pizza!
I still edit and host the website to this day.
Assignment at Noroff - Make a website for a pretend-client. I chose to invent my own alter ego, Carlito the DJ It was meant to be a simple website done by only HTML and CSS, but for final re-deliver at the end of the semester, I had grown very fond of Flash and ActionScript3 and thus chose to redo the navigation bar. The assignment required a main page and minimum 3 sub pages, hence not all the blog-links actually going anywhere etc.
It was a very fun project, and my very first proper website. It even has downloadable wallpapers from your new favorite DJ!
Another assignment, following the one above. The assignment was to create 3 flashbanners/commercial frames to advertise for the pretend client we made the previous website for. Size and format was determined by the assignment. One tall, one wide and one square. You have to scroll a little to reach the square one.
This shows my ability to make interactive flash designs. I quickly picked up the basics of simple coding with ActionScript3, making little interactive animations like this very simple.

A World of Warcraft (game) Community website. Here I have assisted in upgrading graphics and general theme of the site for the 2010 expantion pack for the game, Cataclysm. I have created textures, banner, buttons and most other visible art on the page.
Yet another assignment at Noroff. Here we were asked to make an interactive story by using Flash. My group and I created a talking sheep and put him in a world of his own. He lives on a farm, and randomly decides that he has to go to the city for something. The story then lets you pick way of transportation and on the story goes!
Only in Norwegian.
As a final assignment at Noroff Multimediadesign we had to present the most important work for that semester in a neat little folder. How we wanted to present it was individual. I chose to make a flash-index out of it.

This was my first attempt of making something web-related within Flash and ActionScript3. Being able to make bars move, resize and things pop out of nowhere made me particularly interested in this topic.
